Milk Burfi


2,5 dl milk
4 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
5 dl sugar
1 tbsp of Cardemom powder
2 tbsp chopped almonds

Mix together milk and sugar and bring to boil.
Keep heating on a medium flame while stirring frequently.
When milk had boiled add ghee cardamom and almonds. Keep stiring until the milk thickens. Slowly it will turn into a paste. When it becomes solid remove it from the heat. Take a nonstick pan and grease it with some ghee. Spread a thick layer, about 2 cm of this mixture on it. When cool, cut into diamond shaped pieces and serve.
